March 24th, 2023: Remembering Samuel Elia
In the morning of March 24, 2002, son and brother Samuel, 17 years old, had a car accident on his way to teach a youth group in the congregation. We miss him so much, but we will see him again...
He left a legacy in this Earth that changed so many lives, certainly change my family and me first.
The Freedom of his expression of Worship, jumping high, His love for people, His intimacy with His Heavenly Father,
His tears of joy, His words and acts of love to people that He kept as a secret.
He is now promoted to Glory, to a higher mission before the throne.
(Psalm 132:11,12)
"As the Host of Heaven cannot be numbered niether the sand of the sea measured,
so I will multiply the seed of David, My servant, and the levites that minister unto Me." (Jeremiah 33:22)
His destiny was successfully completed in this Earth, and his Life, as he said, is a seed that will multiply, and we will sow it...
"The Kingdom suffers violence
And the violent takes His Destiny by force
I heard You saying in a faint voice
that Life is not worth living if my motive is just "survival"
I want to be launched into my Destiny
Your Purpose in My Life
You Should be the air I breathe
Nothing else but You.
My desire is to spend time with You
And hear you clearer
You also made me think how you
woke me up every morning by morning
just to spend time with Me
I ungratefully saved You for last
I keep locking You in a Box for my Rainy Days
Like every grain of sand counts in the hourglass
so is my time to be spent with You
This World teaches us that life of efficiency and performance is everything.
This is reality to most, but for me, I choose to go after something more."
(Samuel Elia, my brother)
We won't forget you Sammy... see you again one day, we'll worship our Abba Father together.
In compassion with you, but in the living hope too about our eternal gathering in His glory! 2 Cor. 5,1! Mighty comfort in this expectation!
